In 2012, Matrix IDC was entrusted with a high-profile Olympic Games project, manufacturing, delivering and installing bespoke joinery, point-of-sale counters, metal retail shelving and shop display systems across official Olympic merchandise venues in the UK. The scale and visibility of the project demanded precision, speed and careful coordination. Works had to be manufactured accurately, delivered on programme and installed across multiple retail locations under strict deadlines. Every element needed to perform commercially while supporting a consistent shopfitting and customer experience during one of the most significant sporting events ever held in the UK. This project remains a strong example of Matrix IDC’s ability to deliver large-scale specialist fit-out, retail shopfitting and bespoke joinery works for national, high-pressure environments where timing, consistency and execution are critical.
